It began as a sound piece made during the early days of the Covid-19 virus outbreak in March; a collaborative work with many voices entitled dis-placement/this placement and it called for further elaboration and collaboration...

Sounding it out is the name given to this extended piece, because of its relationship to language and voice, the way that sound moves things, and because it has been sent out to artists, dancers, musicians, poets and thinkers, asking for a response in any form they choose. Here is a compilation of the responses.
